BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Meyer focuses his practice on providing and tailoring intellectual property services that produce assets that match the business needs and desires of clients. He has a wide range of legal experience, with a particular emphasis on developing patent procurement strategies for clients and executing in support of those strategies. Before joining Larson Newman, George was the chairman of a patent committee at Motorola (now Freescale Semiconductor). He has prepared, prosecuted, or directed prosecution of several hundreds of patent applications worldwide. He has an in-depth knowledge of patent law and rules particularly regarding patent procurement. George has worked for and with companies ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups. He has written or prosecuted patent applications in the microelectronics, electronic materials, organic electronic devices, nanotechnical, chemical, mechanical, software, networking, optical switching, and telecommunications areas.
